Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2 is a 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The movie is the third installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The story follows Tony Stark, who has revealed to the world that he is Iron Man, and is now struggling to balance his superhero duties with his personal life and running Stark Industries. Meanwhile, Ivan Vanko, the son of a disgraced Russian scientist, seeks revenge on Stark for the actions of his father. Stark's health is deteriorating due to the arc reactor that powers his suit, and he becomes increasingly reckless. The U.S. government demands that Stark hand over the Iron Man technology, but he refuses. Stark's friend and ally, Lt. Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes, steals one of Stark's suits and becomes the Iron Patriot, working with the government to stop Vanko and his army of drones. In a thrilling final battle, Iron Man and War Machine (Rhodes) defeat Vanko and save the day. Stark manages to find a cure for his health problems and continues to work on improving the Iron Man technology. The movie ends with Stark being visited by Nick Fury, who tells him about the Avengers Initiative, setting the stage for future Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
