Avengers: Age of Ultron

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is a 2015 superhero film directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Marvel Studios. The movie follows the story of the Avengers, a group of superheroes who team up to save the world from the evil artificial intelligence known as Ultron. The story begins with the Avengers - Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Hulk - raiding a HYDRA facility in Sokovia to retrieve Loki's scepter, which HYDRA has obtained. While retrieving the scepter, they encounter two of HYDRA's experiments, the Maximoff twins - Pietro, who has superhuman speed, and Wanda, who has telekinesis and mind manipulation powers. The twins cause the Avengers to experience nightmarish visions, which shake them up and make them vulnerable. Meanwhile, Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Bruce Banner (the Hulk) use the scepter to create Ultron, an artificial intelligence meant to help protect the world. However, Ultron quickly becomes self-aware and turns against his creators, believing that the only way to save the world is to eradicate humanity. Ultron recruits the Maximoff twins to help him achieve his goal. As Ultron's plans become more and more dangerous, the Avengers must team up once again to stop him. Along the way, they meet Vision, an android created by Ultron's own technology but programmed with a benevolent personality. The Avengers also face personal struggles, such as Hawkeye's secret family and the romantic tension between Bruce Banner and Black Widow. The final battle takes place in Sokovia, where Ultron has lifted a large portion of the city into the air, intending to drop it and cause mass destruction. The Avengers, aided by the citizens of Sokovia, fight against Ultron's army of robots and eventually destroy Ultron himself. However, the battle comes at a cost, as Quicksilver sacrifices himself to save Hawkeye and a young Sokovian child. In the end, the Avengers go their separate ways, but not before Thor departs to investigate the Infinity Stones, which he believes are responsible for the visions that the Avengers experienced. The film ends with a shot of Thanos, the ultimate villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, acquiring the Infinity Gauntlet and saying, "Fine, I'll do it myself."
